Today we’re going to peel garlic by using the microwave. So, let’s get started!
You know, there are several different ways you can peel garlic, obviously. Some people crush it with the blade of the knife, some people shake it in a bowl.
But today, we’re going to show you how to do it in a super-easy way, in the microwave. It is so easy that even a seven-year-old can do it.
Alright, so first, you are going to microwave the garlic for about 20 seconds.
One thing that you want to be careful of when you pull this out of the microwave is, it could be a little bit hot. This one actually was, so I just busted it open so it could cool off for a second so that we could handle it.
As you can see, just busting it open one fell out. But now Greyson is going to show you how easy it is to peel this garlic now that we’ve heated it.
So the good thing about doing it this way and not crushing it with the blade of the knife is that the cloves can stay intact.
There you go, see how easy that was? Just a couple of seconds and the skin came right off.
Conclusion
Alright, guys, as you can see, throwing the garlic in the microwave for about 20 seconds makes it super easy to peel. So, the next time you need garlic, if you need it to be intact for your dish, feel free to give this a try.
