The Fuego Professional Grill is based upon the original award winning Fuego Element design with added user friendly features. We started with the base design of the Fuego Element then thought about how to improve your cooking experience. The answers came from vast amounts of customer feedback and market research - the result is our latest model, the Fuego Professional Grill. We began from the ground up, starting with the wheels. We added non-marking industrial casters ensuring a smooth and stable roll while moving your grill around your deck or patio. Moving up, we added a perfect door clasp to keep the front panel closed securely, preventing those annoying rattles you hear on other grills. Next, we tackled the residue removal system by removing an additional 100+ square inches of surface area from the bottom of the fire bowl allowing the cooking debris to drop straight into the residue tray. This new design makes cleanup a breeze. We kept the same Dual-Zone burner system but added a 25% boost in BTU's up to 26, 500 BTU/hr. This grill gets hot and it gets hot fast. In addition to the BTU boost, we also increased the grill surface area, now offering 415 square inches of primary grilling area with a 110 square inch warming rack for a massive combined grilling area of 525 square inches. Large enough for cooking 20 burgers at once. We did this all while maintaining a small 28" x 28" footprint with the lid open; 24"x24" footprint with the lid closed. Speaking of the lid, we added hood hinges at a 45 Degree angle, so no more reaching over the hot fire like most gas grills. The hood also acts nicely as a wind break for those open lid cooking days. Not to mention the 9" of grilling height below the lid is perfect for a beer can chicken or three! ! ! New as of May 2020, we have upgraded the lid to porcelain enamel to eliminate the paint bubbling and peeling issue. The Fuego Professional Grill, possibly the most versatile grill on the market.

I was moving into a new house and took it as an opportunity to purchase a new grill for a new space since my last gas grill was on its last legs. I was looking for something in a more compact size but also didn't have to sacrifice the cooking area and this seem to fit the bill given all the great reviews. Well...after over a year of cooking on this overall I'm having total buyers remorse. I'll just bullet point the pros and cons below...PROS- large cooking surface- compact size- easy assemblyCONS- DOES NOT HEAT UP AS QUICK AS ADVERTISED!Grill claims to heat to 500 degrees in 10 minutes.....I haven't see this to be true... more like 15 - 20 minutes- SO MANY FLARE UPS!The design compacts the interior grilling parts. Why is this bad? What I noticed is that the grease catch area and burner drip covers are all very close to the flames causing flame ups ALL THE TIME. Especially in the pre-heating process. You'll find yourself cleaning out this grill twice as much at least...depending on how often you cook. For me I cook alot during the summer so this is crazy annoying.- POOR GRILL LID CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL!You say now..."What's so bad with flame ups and burn off during pre-heating?" Normally nothing, never had issues before until I purchased this, but the dome material is not very thick so when their are flame ups and grill reaches over 500 degrees it'll start to peel your paint away and ultimate rust the top of your grill if any moisture hits it...(see attached pic). You'll have to extinguish the flames rather than just letting them burn out if you want to save your grill lid.- POOR GRILL LID DESIGN!Vent holes on top of grill lid. Again, why is this bad? Number one, I don't believe this allows the grill to get very hot during colder months. I live in NC so its not like it ever gets super cold but I think with the vent holes being on top of the cover coupled with the thin grill lid, it just doesn't hold heat and struggled to even hold 450 degrees in colder months. Now another issue with the vent holes is.... remember the flare up issue?...yea, the vent holes totally contribute to that on a windy day. That air will will find its way in the grill and fan the flames, making a situation where you can't provide an even cooking environment....incredibly annoying! Now it makes sense why you see all the reputable grill companies that have been doing this forever place the vent holes near the rear and bottom of the grill...which prevents this issue.In conclusion I can't recommend this grill. I'm baffled by all the great reviews of this grill. It makes me wonder how many of these people have real experience grilling on anything else. I'll get through the summer with this one but then its going to the dump and a Weber Genesis is going in its place.

Nicely designed and well made! Unlike some other bbq’s that cost double of this one, the parts all fit with no jamming of screws and bolts, assembly was easy with very few pieces and it was shipped undamaged. The cooking surface is enormous and double fire ring perfect for different cooking needs. Small footprint and super high BTU output - and it’s tough to beat this at this price. I did put a different thermometer in and will test the OEM one shortly... very happy with this Pro model upgrade and it should take care of even your biggest BBQ needs.

1 Year UPDATE! Not a happy camper... the inner ring no longer heats well, it take a full 20 minutes to heat to 500F, the 45 degree lid is always an unwelcome surprise, the lid black paint formed a huge bubble, the cover faded completely and turned to crap, the temp is uneven and not well controlled by the dial... either too hot or not hot enough. I’ve burned more chicken and steak on this thing in one year than in 15 years of Weber Q. Big mistake. Don’t make it. Pros... strong ignition starter, easy clean out, small footprint, strong moving casters - none of which make a great steak. Don’t forget - that a wheel from a car, turned upside down and filled with charcoal makes one of the best bbq’s in the world. 😉
